Why Brooklyn Grace?
for our daughters….
Our owner, Mindi, often jokes that her bridal shop was her first child until she had her first son, Bear, and then another son, Brody. She lost her third baby – a girl – and did not think she would ever get to raise her own daughter. Feeling super fortunate, she had one more boy that she loves with all her being, plus a wedding dress shop where she daily takes care of women; grandmothers, mothers, daughters, and sisters. She spent her days being a part of these memorable mother-daughter moments and wondered if she would ever get a chance to experience that with her own daughter.
Her story took a turn when she was surprised to discover she was going to have one more baby, and she found out it was a girl! In June 2017, Brooklyn Grace, her first and only daughter, was born! Brooklyn Grace was born to three doting older brothers, and amazing parents, Mindi and Jordan. One of the meanings of the name “Grace” is “unexpected gift from God” which is exactly what Brooklyn Grace is to her family.
Mindi was inspired to create a wedding gown collection in honor of her only daughter. This designer bridal collection is filled with whimsy and joy, with the sparkles, bows, and 3D flower detailing that really do remind one of dreaming about being a bride. When you look at these Brooklyn Grace dresses you cannot help but smile. It takes you back to childhood innocence. It’s a bridal collection that she designed for her own daughter and for all daughters. We are so excited for everyone to see and experience these gorgeous wedding dresses!
