At Something New Boutique, we’re passionate about building and uplifting our community, which is why we put work into supporting causes and charities we believe in! From causes that are close to home, to organizations that are working on the other side of the world, giving back to the community and helping to make the world a better place is one of our top priorities.
Because our owner Mindi’s son is a cancer SURVIVOR, helping out families touched by childhood cancer is one of the causes that is closest to our hearts. We support charities that assist families with children who are battling cancer because we have experienced it first hand. We have paired up with Lighthouse Family Retreat, Children’s Hospital of Colorado, and individual families in our community to help out however we can!
Throughout the month of September, for Childhood Cancer Awareness month, we will be matching every donation made to the Children’s Hospital Colorado- Colorado Springs by brides that visit the store. We are so grateful for the work they did to save Mindi’s son, so we want to help out in any way we can and give back to all of the other local children that need care!
Not only do we assist families battling cancer, we also give back through Divina, Something New Boutique’s own unique and stunning line of wedding dresses. Brides buying a Divina gown can feel good about giving back, as a portion of the proceeds of every dress goes to The Exodus Road, an organization that actively fights human trafficking around the world RESCUE.
